Bikram Yoga Opens in Doylestown

Bucks County’s first Bikram Yoga Studio has opened in Doylestown. Bikram Yoga is located at the Shoppes at Blueberry Hill on South Easton Road.

According to Molly Mitnick, studio director, Bikram Yoga is the original hot yoga. “It is a series of 26 postures and two breathing techniques done in a room heated to 105 degrees and 40 percent humidity,” she said.

The class schedule can be found online at bikramyogadoylestown.com. The studio is planning a Grand Opening party on Feb. 15 that will feature a free 3:30 p.m. class and cocktails and snacks after.  

Mitnick said Bikram Yoga has many benefits, including increased flexibility and detoxification. Bikram Yoga is a franchise, with hundreds of studios worldwide.
