VIA Bringing Village Fair Back To Doylestown This Summer
The event will feature live entertainment, games, food trucks, and a variety of community information booths

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The rumors are true. After a more than 20 year absence, the much loved Village Fair, held in Doylestown from the 1960s to the 1990s, is making a come back this summer
Carol Shugars, a board member with the Village Improvement Association (VIA) and chair of the 2023 fair, confirmed that the popular event is coming to Central Park in Doylestown Township on Saturday, June 24 from 12 to 4 p.m.
With the theme of "Neighbors Helping Neighbors," nonprofit service organizations will be teaming up with the Village Improvement Association and Doylestown Township to raise funds for members of the community who are in need of assistance with rising food, utility, and housing costs.

The afternoon will feature live entertainment, games, food trucks, and a variety of booths staffed by volunteers from participating nonprofit organizations. Some of the organizations will have items for sale while others will feature displays, activities and games to challenge and entertain visitors.
“We at the VIA are looking forward to the future in reinstating an event that many local residents fondly remember attending as children," said Shugars. "Our hope is that a new generation can feel the joy and reward of giving back to our beloved community, while having fun in the process. All donations on the day of the event will go directly to those in need."
