Buckingham Looking For Residents To Serve On Park And Recreation Commission

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Buckingham Township is looking for residents interested in serving on the township's Park & Recreation Commission.

The commission serves as an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors. Members are appointed by the board and assist in guiding the development of improvements to the township's four parks, trails, programs, and recreational facilities in a manner that benefits the entire community and ensures responsible management of public resources.

Responsibilities include: Providing advisory input on parks, facilities, and recreational programming; supporting policy development, budgeting, and long-term planning efforts; and promoting inclusive, community-focused events and partnerships

The ideal candidates will demonstrate an interest in community service and outdoor recreation, a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and a willingness to attend meetings and participate in occasional events.
