Buckingham Pediatrics Office Manager Charged With Stealing $100K: Police

An 85-year-old office manager at Buckingham Pediatrics has been charged with stealing more than $100,000 from her employer, Buckingham Township police said.

According to police, Elnite Carpenter, 85, of Lahaska stole the money between 2008 and this year.

Carpenter is charged with three felonies, including theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, court records show.

Buckingham Township Police said since the matter is now a criminal case they could not provide further information.

Court documents show that Carpenter was arraigned in late September. She is free on $100,000 bail.
