Bucks Auto Dealer Is Challenging Kids To 'Draw The Future' Of Cars

Young artists encouraged to create designs ranging from eco-friendly concepts to imaginative, out-of-this-world rides.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Thompson Organization announced the return of its annual Draw the Future contest for 2026. The competition aims to inspire young artists by inviting students in kindergarten through sixth grade to design their vision of future vehicles. The contest has been a tradition for over 30 years.

Participants are encouraged to create designs ranging from eco-friendly concepts to imaginative, out-of-this-world creations. The contest emphasizes creativity in all submissions.

Every student who participates will receive a limited-edition 2026 Draw the Future t-shirt. All submitted artwork will be displayed at Thompson dealership locations in Doylestown. The organization includes Thompson Toyota, Lexus, and BMW in Doylestown.

Winners will be recognized in each grade level, with first-, second-, and third-place honors awarded. The Thompson Organization has been in business since 1969 and is family-owned. It also operates Thompson Lexus Willow Grove, the Thompson Detail Center in Doylestown, and the Thompson Collision Center in Plumsteadville.

Entries must include an original drawing and a completed entry form. Submissions are due by Thursday, March 19. Artwork can be dropped off at any Thompson dealership or mailed to Taylor Thompson at 122 W. Swamp Rd, Doylestown 18901.
