Police In Bucks Conducting Enhanced DUI Patrols Over Thanksgiving
"If you plan on celebrating, please plan ahead with a sober ride home. Don't drink and drive and don't do drugs," said the Bucks County DA.
DOYLESTOWN, PA — Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn joined members of Bucks County law enforcement on Monday to send a sobering message to anyone who chooses to drink and drive over the Thanksgiving holiday.
"As we begin the long Thanksgiving weekend Bucks County police will be out in force to protect motorists on the road," said Schorn. "Beginning Wednesday evening, the day before Thanksgiving, Bucks County officers from several departments will be conducting enhanced DUI enforcement patrols throughout the county.
"If you plan on celebrating, please plan ahead with a sober ride home. Don't drink and drive and don't do drugs," said Schorn. "Thanksgiving is a time to enjoy with family and friends and we want everyone to be safe."
