WARRINGTON, PA — Bucks County Clerk of Courts Eileen Hartnett Albillar on Wednesday announced her candidacy for the 6th Senatorial District of Pennsylvania.

“I’ve spent my life giving back and working to improve this community - as a social worker, as a non-profit leader, and now in county government,” said Hartnett Albillar. “We all know Harrisburg isn’t listening to Bucks County, and we are paying the price: costs are going up, SEPTA’s funding is still broken, and families are struggling to make ends meet."

She continued, "I’m running for the State Senate because it’s time for new leadership that is willing to fight for everyday Bucks County residents- our teachers, plumbers, nurses, transit workers. I’ve spent my career listening to people, solving problems, and navigating complex and broken systems. I’ll go to Harrisburg and fight to lower costs, grow our local economy so we have good-paying jobs that can support a family, and fully fund our public schools.”
