Bucks County Bar Foundation Seeking Nominations For Gala Awards

The foundation will recognize, honor and praise members of the community for their selfless acts of service, giving and volunteerism.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Trustees of the Bucks County Bar Foundation will celebrate its 20th Anniversary by recognizing, honoring and praising extraordinary members of the community whose selfless acts of service, giving and volunteerism have made a meaningful contribution to the community.

The foundation will be presenting the following awards at its 20th Anniversary Gala to be held April 18 at the Buck Hotel:

  • Service Award – The Service Award is to recognize a member of the public who has made significant contributions to their community through selfless, altruistic service to charitable, religious, civic, governmental and/or educational organizations. This recipient works on behalf of others without being motivated by financial or material gain.
  • Veterans Award – The Veterans Award is to recognize a member of the public who has demonstrated philanthropic support and selfless service to members of the military services and their families.
  • Justice Award – The Justice Award is to recognize a person, entity or organization who has advanced the ideals of social justice in the community at large. This recipient will have encouraged a greater respect for the law and fostered a greater respect for the rule of law.

“We will present these awards as an acknowledgement of the sacrifice and appreciation of their time, devotion and dedication for those that often go unrecognized,” said Jefferey Liebmann, Esq., President of the Bucks County Bar Foundation.

The foundation is seeking assistance from the community in nominating individuals that they believe to be deserving of the awards. The deadline to nominate an individual or organization is January 18. Send nominations via email to info@bucksbar.org or mailed to the Bucks County Bar Association, 135 E. The mission of the Bar Foundation of the Bucks County Bar Association, consistent with its charter and as a charitable entity, is to promote and support programs, organizations, and individuals throughout Bucks County who are engaged in activities designed to foster respect for the rule of law, the advancement of rights, liberties and protections under the law, as well as activities which have as a principal purpose the advancement of social justice for the individuals, families and communities of Bucks County.
