Bucks County Controller's Office Recognized For Financial Reporting

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Controller's Office has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.

The award recognizes the office's annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal
year ending December 31, 2022. The report was judged by an impartial panel to meet the high standards of the program, which includes demonstrating a constructive “spirit of full disclosure” to clearly communicate its financial history and motivating potential users and user groups to read the report.

The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by the Controller’s Office and Bucks County.

Bucks County Controller Pamela Van Blunk and the Controller’s Office are responsible for preparing the county’s annual financial report. For a copy of the report click here.
