Bucks County Convenince Store Sells Winning Lottery Ticket

The $325,000 prize will be split after Bucks and Philadelphia county stores each sell winning tickets.

A Bucks County convenience store recently sold a winning Pennsylvania Lottery Cash 5 jackpot ticket according to the Pennsylvania Lottery's website.

Top Star Express, 7532 Easton Road, Ottsville, sold the ticket which matched all five balls drawn, 07-16-19-42-43, to each win $325,000, less applicable tax withholding, according to the Lottery.

A second winning ticket was also sold at Sam’s Beer Distributor, 5647 Walnut St., Philadelphia. The $325,000 prize will be split between the winning tickets, meaning each is worth $162,500.

The winning numbers were drawn on Thursday, Nov. 10.

The prizes must be claimed and the tickets validated before the winners can be identified, according to the Lottery website. Cash 5 winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes, the website said.

The Lottery encourages each holder of a jackpot-winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at (717) 702-8146 and file a claim at any of Lottery’s seven area offices or at Lottery headquarters in Middletown, Dauphin County.

Claims may be filed Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at area offices and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at headquarters.

In Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Lottery awarded more than $105.2 million in prizes to winners and provided more than $37 million to programs that benefit older residents during the 2015-16 fiscal year, according to the Lottery. In Philadelphia County, the Lottery awarded more than $310.9 million in prizes and contributed more than $273.6 million to programs serving the county’s older residents, the Lottery said.

More than 30,200 other Cash 5 tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, according to the Lottery. Players should check every ticket, every time and lower-tier prizes may be claimed at Lottery retailers, the Lottery said.
