Delegation From Bucks Co. Travels To Chesco To Honor Life Of Slain Officer
District attorney, law enforcement officers pay final respects to officer killed in the line of duty during services in Downingtown.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A delegation of Bucks County law enforcement officials joined fellow members of law enforcement, community leaders, and residents in Chester County on Wednesday to pay their final respects to Corporal Timothy J. O’Connor Jr., a member of the Pennsylvania State Police who was killed in the line of duty on March 8.
The funeral service, held at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Downingtown, Chester County, drew more than 1,000 mourners who came together to celebrate a life characterized by bravery and over 15 years of professional excellence.
Corporal O’Connor, 40, was fatally wounded during a traffic stop in West Caln Township.

Among those in attendance to honor his memory were Bucks County District Attorney Joe Khan and members of the Bucks County Detectives, who joined with members of law enforcement from across Bucks County to travel together to Downington in a motorcade. Their presence underscored the deep bond shared by the region's public safety community and the collective loss felt across the Commonwealth.
“Today, we stand in solidarity with the family and colleagues of Corporal Timothy O’Connor Jr. to honor a man who represented the very best of our profession,” District Attorney Khan said. “His dedication to justice and his selfless service to the people of Pennsylvania set a standard for all of us in law enforcement. While we mourn this significant loss, we also remain inspired by his legacy of integrity and the lives he touched throughout his distinguished career.”
