Bucks County 'Honor Flight' Gives Veterans A Chance To See The Capitol

The Bucks County Honor Flight is set for October 5, 2015.

The event gives local veterans the chance to travel to Washington, D.C. to see the nation’s capital, war memorials,“knowing they are not forgotten heroes, but loved and respected by their country,” the official Bucks County website posted.

Veterans of World War II and the Korean War are invited on the Honor Flight.

“The honor flight is just another way to say thank you to our heroes,” U.S. Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-Bucks) said on Facebook.
