Bucks County Issues Declaration Of Disaster Emergency
Activates Emergency Operations Center to monitor conditions, coordinate resource requests from first responders.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Bucks County Commissioners on Saturday approved a Declaration of Disaster Emergency ahead of a storm that is forecast to bring heavy snow, whiteout conditions, and the potential for ice accumulation to the county.
The declaration, which took effect at noon on Saturday, empowers the county’s Emergency Management Agency (EMA) to more efficiently respond to emergency conditions that arrise during the storm.
As of Saturday morning, the National Weather Service was predicting a foot or more of snow could blanket parts of Bucks County through Sunday.
