Bucks County Man Faces Multiple Charges In Hilltown Stabbing
Police said an investigation determined that a woman had been injured twice with a knife during a several hour ordeal.
HILLTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — A 20-year-old Hilltown Township man faces multiple charges after stabbing a woman several times at a business in the 800 block of Blooming Glen Road.
Jacob Cantando has been charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, flight to avoid apprehension, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats with intent to terrorize another, possessing instruments of crime, false imprisonment, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.
Hilltown Police responded to a business in the 800 block of Blooming Glen Road on June 28 at 3:11 a.m. to investigate the report of a female stabbing victim. Officers arrived on scene and heard screaming coming from nearby.

As officers checked the area they encountered a female victim running toward them being followed by Cantando. When Cantando fled on foot, officers followed and were able to place him into custody.
Police said an investigation determined that a woman had been injured twice with a knife during a several hour long ordeal in which the suspect refused to allow the victim to leave.

Cantando was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Regina Armitage of New Britain and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional facility in lieu of posting 10 percent of $250,000
bail.
