Bucks County Offices Closed On Monday Due To The Weather

Bucks County government has announced the closure of all county and district court offices on Monday.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — All Bucks County offices, including government offices, district courts and the Bucks County Justice Center, will be closed on Monday, Feb. 23, due to the weather.

All scheduled court proceedings, including those scheduled at any Bucks County Magisterial District Court, are postponed. Jurors should not report to the Justice Center in Doylestown.

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for the region through 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, for up to 12 inches of snow with wind gusts as high as 45 mph. Snowfall rates could exceed two inches per hour. Locally higher snowfall amounts and significant drifting of snow is possible.

"Travel could be very difficult to impossible," warn forecasters. "Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could also bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.
