Bucks LVW Webinar To Explore "How School Boards Impact Us All"
A panel of experts will discuss what school boards do, how they are elected and how the actions of boards affect all community members.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — With national attention increasingly focused on school boards, the League of Women Voters of Bucks County has announced plans for a webinar that will clarify the role and impact local school boards have on everyone in the community.
“How School Boards Impact Us All” will be held via Zoom on Monday, March 13 beginning at 7 p.m. Register at https://bit.ly/lwvbucks.

“People have trusted for a very long time that things are going to go just fine in their school districts because people are operating in good faith. That is not the case in Pennsylvania anymore," said panelist Susan Spicka, executive director of Education Voters of PA.
Other panelists include Dr. Ziad Munson, professor of sociology and chair of the sociology and anthropology department at Lehigh University; Kate Nazemi, co-founder of Advocates of Inclusive Education; and Jennifer K. Hoff, a member of the Pennsylvania School Board Association.
