Bucks Man Killed In Rt. 611 Crash
The crash happened at Rt. 611 and County Line Road just before 2:15 a.m. Sunday. A 25-year-old Bucks County man died.

A 25-year-old Bucks County man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Rt. 611 early Sunday morning, authorities announced Monday.
The accident, which is under investigation by the Montgomery County District Attorney and Horsham Township Police, killed Erik Detweiler of Quakertown.

According to authorities, the crash happened just before 2:15 a.m., when a Hyundai going north on Rt. 611 attempted a left turn onto County Line Road and was struck by a southbound tractor trailer.
When police arrived at the scene, they located a deceased male, later identified as Detweiler, trapped in the passenger seat of the Hyundai.

The driver of the Hyundai, whose name was not released, is from Souderton and was transported to Abington Hospital for treatment, authorities said.
The driver of the tractor trailer is a New Jersey resident. He cooperated with police and provided blood for testing, the joint statement from the district attorney and police said.
The investigation of the crash will include an analysis of both drivers’ blood samples to determine if alcohol or drugs was a factor in the crash.
