Bucks County Spas, Salons Come Together To Raise $20K For Kin Wellness

BUCKS COUNTY, PA – The community came out in force to raise money for the Kin Wellness and Support Center during its first-ever month-long Bucks County Spa and Salon Self-Care Month.

With the slogan, "Care for yourself, help others," hundreds from throughout Bucks County booked self-care appointments with participating spas, med-spas, and salons with a percentage of their treatment fee dedicated to helping local cancer patients and their caregivers through Kin. The event raised $20,000.

Forty businesses participated from towns across the county. Select locations hosted special events, raffles, and featured collection jars creating a myriad of ways for people to give.

“We couldn’t be happier with our retail sales during the month-long event to support Kin," said Brett Wilson, the owner of Salon 39 in Doylestown. "We ended up having one of our most successful sales months in the history of our salon. It felt even better knowing that our success was going to such a great non-profit. All of our clients pitch in, we are looking forward to participating again next year.”
