Busy Bee To Host Neighborhood Toy Store Day Celebration

DOYLESTOWN, PA — Busy Bee Toys in Doylestown will be celebrating Neighborhood Toy Store Day with a special event on Nov. 11.

The event, which will also celebrate the store's 11th birthday, will include games, discounts, raffles and surprises. It goes from 11 am to 2 pm.

Nerice Kendter, Busy Bee Toys owner, says personalized customer service and knowledge about how to choose the right toys distinguishes her shop from mass merchants.

“Neighborhood specialty toy store owners are the real experts when it comes to making the best toy recommendations for children,” said Kendter. “We spend lots of time with kids on a daily basis and understand the value of play and what types of toys encourage playtime.”

Here is the schedule for Neighborhood Toy Store Day:

• 11am to 12pm: ROCKet Art with Do A Dot Markers and aRock, Paper, Scissors Challenge. (Perfect for our younger customers)
• 12pm to 1pm: Are You Smarter Than A Box Of Rocks? Trivia Game (For kids & adults ages 10+)
• 1pm to 2pm: Meet Sarah, a real archaeologist and learn about digging up rocks and other amazing artifacts. Work together to dig up a specimen with kits from MindWare.
