More voters turned out for the May primary election than any primary in the past 25 years. Voters appear to be understanding the need to vote in every election. The upcoming November election has some potentially contentious races. This forum aims to inform voters about issues affecting our democracy. People will also have the opportunity to register to vote. Light refreshments will be served during the event.

"At a time when there is deep division and an erosion of civil rights occurring in our country, it is deeply important for the largest numbers of people possible to become involved in our democratic process. One way we do this is by learning about the people who would take on the trusted task of representing us. Another way we do this is by helping as many people as possible access the most basic right, that of voting," stated Rev. Kevin Jagoe, Minister of BuxMont UU Fellowship.
