Summer Career Exploration Program, is running July 6–10, 2026! We’re offering morning sessions (8–11 AM) and afternoon sessions (12–3 PM) for students entering 7th, 8th, or 9th grade who want to check out what MBIT is all about and try hands-on experiences across our programs. Basic Auto Repair & Maintenance |
Get hands-on experience and build essential skills for life on the road. This course introduces students to the basic automotive repair and maintenance skills necessary for future drivers, car owners, and technicians. Students will learn how to check and change fluids, service tires, and perform other routine maintenance tasks that help keep vehicles safe, reliable, and running smoothly. |
Web Design |
Learn the current technology used in web applications.Develop basic web design skills to create dynamic websites. |
Cosmetology |
Expand your knowledge of hair, skin, and nails through the use of hairstyling techniques, facials, makeup applications, and manicures. |
Building Trades |
Unplug the devices and get your hands on the real thing! In this fast-paced, high-energy week, you won’t just learn how buildings work, you’ll construct one yourself. After some safety lessons, we’ll be diving into the "Big Four" Trades, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and Paint to transform raw materials into a finished masterpiece using the skills of a master craftsman. |

This is the perfect starting point for anyone interested in content creation, YouTube, or filmmaking. This introductory course focuses on the core skills needed to take raw footage and turn it into a compelling, polished video. We will demystify the editing process, teaching fundamental techniques for cutting, organizing, adding music, and exporting your final product for sharing with the world. |
Medical & Health Professions |
Explore the world of disease and prevention through the eyes of a healthcare worker. Students will learn about the body by performing hands-on skills in a simulated medical environment. Interactive workshops will allow the student to investigate a variety of medical careers. |
