The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce (GBMCC) will host its annual State of the State event on Friday, October 30, 2026, bringing together local business leaders and community members for a conversation with three Pennsylvania legislators about the state’s accomplishments, current priorities, and vision for the future.
The program will feature State Senator Frank Farry, State Representative Kristin Marcell, and State Representative Brian Munroe, who will share perspectives on legislative achievements, discuss priorities shaping Pennsylvania’s future, and offer insight into issues affecting businesses, communities, and residents across the region.
The event provides an opportunity for the business community to hear directly from elected officials, gain a better understanding of the state’s direction, and consider how legislative priorities may impact the local economy and the broader community.
“Connecting our business community with the elected officials who represent us is an important part of building a stronger region,” said Patricia Hueber-Bodor, President of the Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce. “This conversation offers an opportunity to learn more about the work being done at the state level, hear what lies ahead, and strengthen the connection between business and government.”
The Greater BucksMont Chamber of Commerce works to foster meaningful connections, support business growth, and provide opportunities for professional development throughout the region. Events such as the State of the State help advance that mission by encouraging informed dialogue and engagement on issues that matter to local businesses.
