Black Cat 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk

The 18th annual Black Cat 5K & 1 Mile Fun Walk supports the work of the Bucks County SPCA. The 5K is a timed run on a paved pathway at beautiful Peace Valley Park. No dogs are allowed on the run because of the limited width of the path. The 1 Mile Fun Walk follows a different path and is open to leashed dogs.

Costumes are encouraged for all people and pets - especially since it will be Halloween! Both events are rain or shine. Any cancellation due to extreme weather will be posted here and on social media.

The Black Cat draws a great crowd and is a much-loved event. Refreshements, top runner awards, and raffle prizes will follow the conclusion of the run - as well as the chance to meet (and adopt!) a kitten ambassador from the shelter.

New this year, we are capping each event at 200 participants. Register today!

Be sure to arrive early. Parking at Sailor's Point can fill up and require parking at another nearby lot. Carpool if you can.
