A Very Hungry Plant Is Taking Over CB West! Little Shop of Horrors Runs Nov. 20-22

Audrey II is taking root in Doylestown!

The CB West Harlequin Club will present Little Shop of Horrors Nov. 20-22, bringing Alan Menken and Howard Ashman's wickedly funny and dark musical comedy to the Central Bucks West stage for just four public performances.

The student cast and crew are building the world of Mushnik's flower shop around one of musical theater's most unforgettable characters: Audrey II. CB West’s carnivorous plant is direct from Hatfield-based Monkey Boys Productions. This is the ONLY rental set of Audrey II puppets built by individuals directly involved with the 2003 Broadway show of Little Shop of Horrors and the subsequent 2004 National Tour

The result is a student production with a very big plant, a killer score, an incredible live band, dark comedy, iconic characters and plenty of theatrical spectacle.

Public performances are Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3:00 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Central Bucks West High School, 375 W. Court Street, Doylestown.
