CB Cares Organizing MLK Day of Service Events
This is the 12th year CB Cares has organized volunteers to participate in projects for the MLK Day of Service.

CB Cares Educational Foundation is hosting a day-long effort to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr on Monday, Jan.19.
“This year will mark CB Cares’ 12th anniversary for hosting and organizing the annual MLK Day of Service. Over the years, thousands of volunteers have participated in area service projects,” CB Cares said in an event announcement.
The opening ceremony of the day of service will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church starting at 8:30 a.m. Attendees can then participate in one of the many service projects in Central Bucks. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church is located at 235 E. State St., Doylestown.

Opening ceremony speakers will include Representative Marguerite Quinn, Rabbi Mitchell Delcau, and Pastor Robert Hamlin along with performances from the Tamanend Middle School Gold & Blue Choir and the Back Bench Boys, Second Baptist Men’s Acapella Gospel Choir.
