CB West Baseball Kicks Off Season Tuesday

The Boys of Summer will finally play ball now that the late March snow is mostly melted.

CB West Baseball will open their season Tuesday in their home opener against Pennsbury High School. The game was originally scheduled for last Friday, March 23.

“As always, the Suburban One Continental conference will be difficult this year, but the Bucks look to move to the top of the conference,” wrote Suburban One Sports in a season preview last week. “A combination of returning varsity players mixed with hungry younger players have the Bucks thinking big. Pitching, defense and situational hitting will be the difference makers this year for an up and coming Bucks squad.”

The game will be played at the varsity baseball field adjacent to War Memorial Field at CB West High School, 375 W. Court St., Doylestown.
