CB West Students Mobilize After KKK Literature Found In Doylestown
The students plan to make and hang signs that read "Love Not Hate Makes Doylestown Great" around town Monday.
Doylestown area youth plan to hang signs Monday around town that convey messages of love and peace.
According to information from organizers, the group will be led by students from Central Bucks West High School and the local chapter of Showing Up for Racial Justice.
Most of the hand-made signs read "Love Not Hate Makes Doylestown Great."

Organizers say they will be inviting local businesses and residents to place the signs in windows throughout the rest of February "as a strong, loving message against the type of hatred, violence and bigotry inflicted on Doylestown this week by the KKK leaving literature at the homes of our neighbors."
"We invite all youth to show that the next generation will not tolerate the hate that has increased recently, but will only combat it with love, peace and kindness," said Courtney Carr, a senior at CB West and one of the effort's organizers.

The pro-KKK flyer was found last week in front of a residence on Court Street, police said.
Sources say the flyer is similar to others found in New Jersey earlier this week. Those flyers, found in Cinnaminson and Moorsetown, said "stop homosexuality and race mixing" and "love your own race."
Following the discovery, the local chapter of Showing Up For Racial Justice began the effort to create signs to be hung in town. The students joined the effort Monday.
