CB West To Unveil Mike Pettine Statue Friday
The statue will be unveiled during a special event that starts at 6 p.m. CB West plays Souderton starting at 7 p.m.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A statue of legendary coach Mike Pettine will be unveiled and dedicated during a special event Friday at Central Bucks West. The event starts at 6 p.m. CB West will take on Souderton later in the evening, with a 7 p.m. kickoff time scheduled.
Guest speakers will include Coach Micahel Carey, C.B. West Principal and former standout Tim Donovan, and more, according tot he Mike Pettine Foundation. "This is going to be a special night," the organization said in a Facebook announcement.
Pettine spent 31 seasons as Central Bucks West's head coach; 15 of those seasons the team was undefeated.

"His football coaching career lead to not only the longest winning streak the school has ever seen, but a life changing impact on those that he taught. His constant dedication, care, and competitive spirit left an permanent impression on those he had taught," a press release announcing the statue said.
Pettine died in 2017. After his death, the life-sized custom bronze statue was created by Big Statues of Provo, Utah in his memory.
