Celebrity Chef Jose Garces Hiring For New Bucks Co. Restaurant

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Want to work for a celebrity chef?

A restaurant opening in New Hope by Jose Garces is currently hiring, according to a newly posted job listing.

Stella by Jose Garces will be opening in May, according to the job listing. The restaurant is currently hiring for the following positions: beverage manager; service manager; chef de cuisine; and sous chef.

The restaurant will be located in the Playhouse Inn, a 12-room, 7,000-square-foot restaurant and event space adjacent to the Bucks County Playhouse. The project is designed by Princeton-based Mills + Schnoering Architects.

The small plates restaurant is named after the dog of the Playhouse owners, Kevin and Sherri Daugherty, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

Garces appeared on The Next Iron Chef, winning the show's second season.

In addition to operating more than a dozen restaurants in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, he owns a 40-acre organic farm in Bucks County.
