Schools without air conditioning will be dismissing early on Wednesday and Thursday due to the excessive heat.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks School District will dismiss school early on Wednesday and Thursday, September 6th and 7th at nine of its buildings without air conditioning.
“We are aware of the impact of the warm temperatures in several of our elementary schools, as well as Lenape Middle School. In consultation with our facilities staff, and in an abundance of caution, we will be implementing early dismissals on Sept. 6th and 7th in the following schools without air conditioning," the school district announced on Tuesday.
- 10:45 a.m. – Lenape Middle School
- 11:55 a.m. – Doyle, Gayman, and Titus Elementary Schools
- 12:10 p.m. – Buckingham and Kutz Elementary Schools
- 12:25 p.m. – Barclay, Linden, and Warwick Elementary Schools
A decision regarding Friday, Sept. 8 will be made at a later time. After-school care in these schools will not be available, according to the district, and there will be no PM kindergarten in schools with an early dismissal. Any Back-to-School nights previously scheduled at the impacted schools for Sept. 6 and 7 will be rescheduled.
