Central Bucks Appoints New Director Of Human Resources
Robert Freiling will join the Central Bucks School District's administrative staff on September 30.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — At its September meeting, the Central Bucks School Board unanimously appointed Robert Freiling as its new director of human resources. He will replace Lisa Corr who is retiring from the position.
Freiling comes to the district from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he served as director of human resources for the hospital's food services provider. Before that, he served as the executive officer, business agent, and political coordinator for Teamsters Union Local No. 115 from 2011 to 2022.
As the principal leader for an on-site team serving 330-plus members in a complex Ivy League healthcare environment, Freiling implemented strategies to optimize internal job posting, external recruitment, pre-employment hiring, and on-boarding processes. His responsibilities included overseeing compensation, benefits, workplace safety, labor relations, and employee recognition and engagement.

At Teamsters Union Local No. 115, Freiling was responsible for negotiating, implementing and administrating 14 collective bargaining agreements in the private and public employment sectors. He led labor relations activities related to performance evaluations, disciplinary proceedings, benefit allocation and policy compliance, and also directed political action and government relations activities.
Freiling has also worked at Franklin & Marshall College and the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. He graduated from Widener University in 2008 and earned his Master of Business Administration from Holy Family University in 2014.
