Central Bucks Athletics To "Fill The Bus" During Sports Seasons
Athletes are partnering with CB Farmer's Market at Barclay to collect food for the area's needy families.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The athletic departments in the Central Bucks School District are partnering with the CB Farmer's Market at Barclay Elementary to launch a new tradition of holding district-wide “fill the bus” events in the South, West, and East during each sports season.
Beginning this spring, athletes and coaches will voluntarily run a “fill the bus” event at a Giant supermarket near their school. First up is CB South, whose event will take place on Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Warrington Giant located at 1661 S. Easton Road in Warrington.
The second spring event will be hosted by the Central Bucks West Athletic Department. It will take place on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the New Britain Giant.

The third event will be hosted by the Central Bucks East Athletic Department and will take place in late-April (specific details to be announced).
The departments will continue to hold one event per area in the fall and winter seasons.

The goal is to collect as much food as possible to support the CB Farmer's Market food distribution program and to provide team building and community service opportunities for athletes.
The CB Farmer's Market at Barclay Elementary provides food assistance to any Central Bucks family. The program typically distributes more than 10,000 pounds of food at bi-monthly markets.
