Central Bucks Chamber Of Commerce Holding Two-Day Veteran Business Owner Event

Are you a veteran who owns a business or is thinking about starting a business? Then check out this event.

The Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce is hosting a two-day long event that aims to help veteran-owned businesses and budding veteran businesses.

The event is scheduled for Nov. 2 and Nov. 3 at the Chamber Headquarters, Bailiwick Office Campus, Suite 23, 252 W. Swamp Road, Doylestown. Pre registration is requested and the event is free to attend.

The event is being held in conjunction with the Small Business Association's National Veterans Small Business Week, which empowers veterans, active duty service members, Guard and Reserve members and military spouses through entrepreneurial training and education programs, business technical assistance counseling, special access to capital programs and federal procurement training and access to opportunities, according to the Small Business Association's website.

The Central Bucks Chamber event will focus on business resources to help start and grow a
business; certification as a Veteran-Owned Business through the VA; and SBA Loan Programs, on Nov. 2.

Nov. 3 brings the topics of Government Marketing: Doing Business with the Federal Government and the County of Bucks; and business certifications.

The Veterans Contracting Series hosted by the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce in Doylestown. The Small Business Association will be joined by the Wharton School/Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Temple University Small Business Development Center, and the County of Bucks, according to the event description. Veteran business owners and entrepreneurs attending the event will have the unique opportunity to access resources and learn ways to make their businesses grow and prosper, the event description says.
