“If my child cannot get to the Eagles game due to protestors, I will personally SHOOT every one of them. You’ve been warned idiots!!”

The post was then shared on Twitter by a user with this caption: “#guidancecounselorthreatens to kill #FergusonPHLprotestors after #eaglesgame.” An online firestorm and the subsequent investigation followed.

Blankenburg was placed on administrative leave immediately after the post. Her pay was suspended on Dec. 10, The Intelligencer reported.

A few weeks later, the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office said the post was “inappropriate” and “ill-advised” but not criminal and no charges were filed. Blankenburg lives in Montgomery County, which is why the matter was investigated there.

Blankenburg initially said she did not write the post but later admitted to investigators that she in fact did write it.

The post was referring to a ”die in” protest after the Eagles game in response to recent grand jury decisions against indicting white police officers in the deaths of two black men.
