Central Bucks Police Make Arrests For DUI, Indecent Exposure, Drugs

Police also arrested individuals for soliciting without a permit, burglary, harassment and numerous other charges.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department reported the following arrests between April 3 and April 30:

April 3

  • A 19-year-old Bristol woman was cited for an ordinance violation on West Court Street after a traffic stop revealed marijuana in her possession. A citation was filed.

April 5

  • Four men from Delaware were charged with an ordinance violation on West State Street in Doylestown Borough for soliciting without a permit. Citations were filed.

April 6

  • A 42-year-old Philadelphia man was charged with indecent exposure after police were told by a witness that they saw him expose himself in the parking lot of CVS on South Main Street in Doylestown Borough. The man was taken into custody, processed and released. A criminal complaint was filed.

  • Nicholas Tyler Shubert, 35, of Georgetown, MA, was arrested on burglary, criminal trespass and criminal mischief charges after police were dispatched for a burglary in progress on Garden Alley in Doylestown Borough. Police said a homeowner returned home to find fire extinguisher powder on the floors throughout the residence and ultimately found Shubert in the basement. Police said Shubert was disoriented and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person. He was arraigned, bail was set at $50,000 unsecured with conditions, and released. A criminal complaint was filed.

April 9

  • A 63-year-old Creamery man was charged with harassment and disorderly conduct for sending threatening text messages to a resident of Park Avenue, Chalfont. A criminal complaint has been filed.

April 13

  • A 22-year-old Upper Darby man was charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and drug violations after police responded to the 7-11 store on East Street in Doylestown Borough for a theft complaint. Police said the man attempted to pay for items with a credit card that was declined. He then left the store with $30 worth of merchandise. The man was taken into custody on N. Main Street and was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A criminal complaint has been filed.

April 15

  • A 23-year-old Doylestown man was cited for for urinating in public on North Main Street in Doylestown Borough. A citation has been filed.
  • Daniel Park, 60, of Aldie, VA, was charged with criminal trespass and harassment after police were dispatch for an unwanted subject entering a residence without the homeowner’s permission on Old Dublin Pike in Doylestown Borough. Park is known to the homeowner and had been harassing them prior to this incident. Citations have been filed.

April 16

  • A 25-year-old Warrington man and a 31-year-old Harleysville man were cited for harassment after police witnessed the two individuals in an argument which then turned physical on North Main Street in Doylestown Borough. Citations were filed.
  • Carolyn Parmer, 29, of Green Lane, was charged with eluding police, careless driving and reckless endangerment after officers witnessed Parmer driving the wrong way on a one-way street in Doylestown Borough. During the traffic stop, Parmer was asked to move to a safer location at which time police said she fled the scene. Officers located Parmer and took her into custody. She was processed and arraigned. Bail was set at $5,000 unsecured.
  • A 20-year-old Doylestown woman was charged with drug violations following an incident at Covered Bridge Park in New Britain Borough. When police conducted a patrol check of the park after closing, they found the woman in a parked vehicle and detected an odor of burnt marijuana. Police said she admitted to having marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

April 20

  • A 35-year-old Chalfont woman was cited for public drunkenness on North Main Street in Doylestown Borough. The woman was found to be unsteady on her feet, presented with blood shot eyes and slurred speech. She was transported to Doylestown Hospital for evaluation. A citation was filed.

April 22

  • Henry Streeter, 68, of Bensalem, was charged with DUI on North Main Street in Doylestown Borough after police were called for a suspicious vehicle. Police arrived to find Streeter asleep in his vehicle, which was half in the street and half in a driveway with substantial damage to the front end. Streeter presented with glassy and blood shot eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of alcohol. Streeter was unable to explain what caused the damage to the vehicle. After he failed a field sobriety test, Streeter was transported to Doylestown Hospital for a blood draw. He was processed and released.

April 24

  • A 39-year-old Warminster man was cited for an ordinance violation following a traffic stop on Doyle Street. Officers found the man to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Citations were filed.

April 29

  • A 30-year-old Doylestown man was cited for criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for an incident on East State Street in Doylestown Borough. Police were dispatched for a burglary in progress. When officers arrived they found the man in the alley behind the residence. Police said he was uncooperative and had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person. He was taken into custody and EMS was called to evaluate him for cuts to his arm. The man was transported to Doylestown Hospital for treatment. Citations have been filed.

April 30

  • A 24-year-old Warrington man was cited for disorderly conduct after urinating in public on West State Street in Doylestown Borough. A citation has been filed.
