Central Bucks Regional Police Awarded $509K Law Enforcement Grant

The funds will be used to purchase new data terminals, maintain and expand the co-responder Victim Services Unit and other services.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The Central Bucks Regional Police Department has been awarded a $509,674 Local Law Enforcement Grant by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

The funds will be used to purchase new Mobile Data Terminals for patrol vehicles, maintain and expand the co-responder Victim Services Unit, engage a medical psychologist consultant to serve victims of crime and support the Officer Wellness program, and hire a Live Scan Technician for the department's Booking Center.

“We are very pleased to be afforded the opportunity to bolster our department’s resources with the necessary equipment and services to continue providing excellence in policing and a safer community," said Police Chief Karl Knott.
