Central Bucks Regional Promotes Detective Sergeant To Captain
Captain Paul Kreuter has had a distinguished and dedicated law enforcement career with the Central Bucks Regional Police Department.

DOYLESTOWN BOROUGH, PA — During a meeting of the Central Bucks Regional Police Commission on March 28, Detective Sergeant Paul Kreuter was promoted to captain of professional standards.
Mayor Noni West and Central Bucks Regional Police Chief Karl Knott were on hand to congratulate Captain Kreuter on his promotion.
Captain Kreuter has had a long, distinguished and dedicated law enforcement career with the department, earning numerous departmental commendations including the Medal of Valor, which he received in 2012 for assisting in the rescue of a police officer while under heavy weapons fire from a barricaded subject, and a citation of heroism for entering into a burning home in an attempt to save a disabled woman.

As a Detective Sergeant, he is credited with investigating many high-profile cases resulting in
arrest and conviction.
In addition to his law enforcement work, Captain Kreuter is president and former battalion chief of the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1 where he has volunteered for the past 33 years.

He has served nine years as Doylestown's battalion chief, two years as captain, one year as a lieutenant, three years as vice president, one year as trustee, and more than 10 years as an engineer and chair of the investigations committee.
