Central Bucks Schools Closed On Monday: Will It Be A Flexible Instruction Day?

All school activities are canceled, and all buildings will be closed on Monday, according to an announcement from the district.

DOYLESTOWN, PA — All Central Bucks schools and facilities will be closed, and all district activities are canceled on Monday, Feb. 23, the school district announced Sunday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for the region through 6 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, for up to 12 inches of snow with wind gusts as high as 45 mph. Snowfall rates could exceed two inches per hour. Locally higher snowfall amounts and significant drifting of snow is possible.

"Travel could be very difficult to impossible," warn forecasters. "Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds could also bring down tree branches and result in isolated power outages.
