Central Bucks South Graduate Joins Newtown Twp. Police Force
Warrington resident Victoria Azzara was sworn in on Wednesday as the newest member of the department.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — Central Bucks High School South graduate Victoria Azzara of Warrington was sworn in Wednesday night as the newest member of the Newtown Township Police Department.
District Judge Mick Petrucci administered the oath as Azzara pledged to uphold the ordinances of Newtown Township with fidelity. She was joined at the board of supervisors meeting by her parents, friends and relatives.
Azzara comes to Newtown Township as a March graduate of the Temple University Police Academy having served internships with the Bucks County Detectives, the Bucks County Youth Center and with the Warrington Township Police Department.

Azzara earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and psychology from Temple University where she was also on the Deans List.

"We are fortunate to have Vicky join our team," said Newtown Township Police Chief John Hearn, who added his thanks to the board of supervisors "for their tremendous support" of the Newtown Township Police Department.
"Their interest in the public safety of this community is a priority as indicated by their actions this evening," he said. "We cannot do what we do without your constant support."
