Central Bucks Student Wins Thompson's "Draw The Future" Campaign

DOYLESTOWN, PA — A fifth grader in the Central Bucks School District has won the grand prize in the Thompson Organization's "Draw The Future" campaign.

Mathilda Nicholson submitted a picture of a creative hybrid, combining the majesty of a mythological pegasus and the reliability of a Toyota. Her visionary artwork is on display through May 30 on a Thompson billboard on Durham Road (Rt. 413) in Wrightstown Township.

For more than three decades, the Thompson Organization has been igniting the imaginations of young visionaries through its "Draw the Future" contest. Students in Kindergarten through sixth grade in Bucks and Montgomery counties were invited to dream up the next-generation Toyota, Lexus, or BMW – and the results were "nothing short of breathtaking," said the Thompson Organization.

More than 1600 entries poured in from 48 local schools this year, making it the most popular year

since the competition’s inception in 1991. A first-, second-, and third-place prize winner was
selected for each grade level, narrowing down the competition to just 21 winners.

On April 18, the winners were invited to attend an awards ceremony at Thompson Toyota in Doylestown to claim their prize. The winners are:
