Central Bucks Students To Honor Veterans With Valentine's Day Tribute

Butler Elementary school will honor local Veterans on Friday, Feb. 3 with a Valentines for Veterans tribute, the Central Bucks School District announced.

Students and staff are planning to work together to honor service men and women through “Our Community Salutes” of Bucks and Montgomery counties project.

"Our Community Salutes is a national, non-profit organization helping communities recognize, honor and support high school seniors who plan to enlist into the U. S. Armed Services after graduation," the district said in an announcement.

Several service men and women from OCS and Veterans of Chalfont’s VFW Post 3258 will join Butler as the students write letters, cards and create pictures to send to our troops.
