Central Bucks Teacher Waives Preliminary Hearing on Sex Charges

A former Central Bucks middle school band teacher who is charged with having sex with a 14-year-old student waived a preliminary hearing Monday.

Bridgett Szychulski, 31, of Philadelphia is headed to court on four counts, including deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault.

According to the Bucks County District Attorney, Szychulski allegedly had a sexual relationship in 2012 with the student while she taught band at Lenape Middle School in the Central Bucks School District.

Szychulski allegedly had intercourse with the student twice on school property and once in her car.
