Central and Lower Bucks Family YMCAs Kick Off Community Campaign with Y Giving Week

(Doylestown, PA, April 17, 2018) Central and Lower Bucks Family YMCAs invite the community to take part in Y Giving Week, a weeklong celebration of the Y’s impact, from April 28-May 5. The Y is asking for the community’s support to help ensure everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to be healthy, connect with others and contribute to a better community

Last year Central and Lower Bucks Family YMCAs received a record number of donations, while giving away a record amount of financial assistance. The need continues to grow this year. Already this year Central Bucks Family YMCA has given away 77% more in financial assistance compared to last year to date. In Lower Bucks, there has been an increase of 16% compared to this time last year.

“We are excited to welcome our members, donors and community to join us for Y Giving Week. It’s a great opportunity to see firsthand how our YMCAs are changing lives and to learn how you can help make an even bigger impact in Bucks County,” said CEO/President Zane Moore.
