Chapman Road Bridge Reopens In Doylestown Township
After evaluating the bridge, PennDOT has posted the span with a 10-ton weight limit.

DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Chapman Road Bridge, which was closed by PennDOT on August 2, has reopened to the public with a 10-ton weight limit.
PennDOT temporarily closed the bridge earlier this month pending further evaluation. After completing its evaluation, PennDOT posted the bridge with a 10-ton weight limit.
Based on the conditions of the Chapman Road bridge, PennDOT has it scheduled for replacement in 2025.

"We appreciate everyone’s patience over the past two weeks while the Chapman Road Bridge has been closed," police said.
