Child Sexually Assaulted In Solebury Park: Police
The alleged assault happened on Feb. 3 at Pat Livezey Park off Rt. 202.

A man who worked as an animal control officer in New Jersey has been charged with sexually assaulting a child in Solebury, officials said.
Saul Nathan Barson, 29, who worked as Princeton's animal control officer, has been suspended without pay for the alleged assault, which police say happened on Feb. 3 at Pat Livezey Park.

Barson, of Lambertville, was arrested on Monday, and charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, indecent assault, corruption of minors and criminal use of a communication facility.
Barson is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old at the park, located off Rt. 202.

Bail was set at $300,000, 10 percent option, Solebury Township Police said. He was remanded to Bucks County Prison.
Anyone who may have had contact with Barson in regards to the alleged charges are asked to contact Solebury Township Police at 215-348-7400.
Barson was connected to the crime after the child and his parents reported the assault by an adult known to the boy as “Jake,” according to the Princeton Packet. The mother provided a license plate number to the pickup truck the assailant was alleged to have been driving, leading police to identify Barson as the alleged culprit.
