Christopher Zikmund Of Doylestown Passes Away At 23

Christopher E. Zikmund of Doylestown passed away Friday, March 18, 2016. He was 23.

He was born Sept. 22, 1992, in Bedford, a beloved son of Paul and Kimberly (Marcej) Zikmund of Doylestown.

Christopher attended Rosedale Technical Institute, Pittsburgh, where he studied diesel technology. He was Catholic by faith.

Christopher will be dearly missed by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved fiancée, Lianne Shipman; parents, Paul and Kim; brothers, Ryan and Tyler Zikmund; grandparents, Ed and Susan Marcej, and Mary Lou Zikmund; uncle and aunt, Kevin and Becky Marcej; cousins, Rachel and Andrew Marcej; Lianne's parents, Kyla and Steve Shipman; and brother, Dillon Shipman; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Paul Zikmund.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 2, in Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Springs Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902. A funeral Mass for Christopher will be celebrated at 11 a.m. immediately following the gathering.
