A special night of food and drink in a six-story castle is planned next month in Doylestown.
The Mercer Museum is hosting its annual Cocktails at the Castle fundraiser on Oct. 14. Guests will have the chance to sample culinary specialties and desserts prepared by area restaurants, plus enjoy other entertainment like auctions, music and dancing.
Festivities kick off at 6:30 p.m. and go through 10:30 p.m.

The event benefits the Mercer Museum's education programs, preservation and community services. Guests will can support the 2016 Mission Appeal benefiting the Log House Education Program.
Tickets are $150 and $125 for Mercer Museum members. Tickets that include the VIP Reception are $250.
