County Theater Hosting Academy Awards Viewing Party

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The County Theater will host an Awards Viewing Party this Sunday, Feb. 24. During the event, there will be a live broadcast of the 91st Academy Awards. The pre-show starts at 6:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony begins at 8:00 p.m.

The event, is a "casual evening where we get together as a community to celebrate Doylestown and the year in film," according to the theater.

Tickets are $6.75 for theater members, $11.25 for general admission and $9 for seniors. Complimentary popcorn, desserts, and hot drinks included with ticket price.

"We’ll be handing out fill-in ballots so you can play along with the show. Come in Black Tie or your PJs," the event announcement said.

Empanada Mama will be at the theater selling $3 empanadas from 7 to 8 p.m.
