County Theater Selects Architect For Expansion Project

The County Theater is expanding into the adjacent property that formerly housed Poor Richards.

The County Theater has selected an architect for its expansion project.

Voith and Mactavish of Philadelphia has been hired and John H. Cluver will be the lead architect, according a report by the Bucks County Herald.

Cluver "brings experience and expertise to this project that makes him the ideal choice," Renew Theaters Executive Director John Toner told the publication.

The expansion will add a third auditorium, a community meeting space, and an expanded lobby. "This expansion of the County Theater will be an ideal use of the property, which will benefit our patrons, local businesses, Doylestown Borough, and the surrounding area,” a letter to members said when the expansion was announced.
