UPDATE: Crash Closes Route 202

Route 202 was closed Friday afternoon between Route 413 and Route 313 due to a traffic accident in which a truck hit a utility pole. As of Friday evening, the road remained closed.

Additionally, 1,353 customers in Buckingham were without power due to the accident. The PECO outage map showed power had been restored by Friday night.

Cross streets entering Rt. 202 were also closed. "These include Burnt House Hill, Mill, and Mechanicsville Road. Use caution in the area and find alternative routes," according to an alert from Buckingham EMA.

The Intelligencer reported a truck hit a utility pole; the driver did not sustain serious injuries.
